E-TEAM Hokkaido 2007 Report

E-team
Hokkaido 2007 arrived June 13 tired but looking forward to working
along side their fellow missionaries who were already on
site. They came with a spirit of co-operation that continued
unfailing throughout their stay with us. As to their
willingness to adapt and try new things, no one could find a better
group. They did not always find things pleasing to their
taste buds but they were sensitive to their hosts and surroundings
and behaved admirably.
E-team 2007 was a group of hard working young people who came to Hokkaido looking for opportunities to experience new things, learn about God's work here and serve in what ever way they could. They helped with two Children's Carnivals, did yard work, ministered to one of our Japanese pastor's work by helping clean the property of grass and weeds on a hot day. They helped the Overseas Apprentices with their English conversation class on Friday. They visited our area Free Will Baptist churches and shared their testimonies. They presented the evening devotional programs at two dormitories of a local high school and later visited the English classes of the same school. They visited a local elementary school for a morning of International Cultural Exchange. That resulted in many attending the Children's Carnival the next day. In general, they contributed greatly to the work of God's Kingdom in Hokkaido. Whether working or playing, this team was a good example of young ambassadors for Christ. It was a joy to have them with us and to be able to introduce them to the work of God in Hokkaido. It is our prayer that they will continually carry in their hearts the memory of the Japanese and their need for Christ.
We pray we will see some of them back in Japan in the future as they seek to follow God in His quest to bring forth a people to Himself from among the peoples of the world.
