Trey Hillman Speaks at Ebetsu Alive Event

Trey
Hillman, manager for the Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters pro baseball
team, gave a powerful talk on July 9th at an event sponsored by the
Ebetsu Alive program. Trey is a devout Christian and is something
of a celebrity among baseball fans in Japan. His team won the Japan
Series last year, and it was an honor and blessing to have him
speak at our event. It's estimated that over 600 people attended
the event, which featured singing as well as a Q&A time with
Trey. Several churches in the Ebetsu area organized the event, and
were even able to make sure each of the attendees received a free
copy of the book
Power For Living,
a popular and useful book which explains the way to salvation. Most
of the attendees were not Christian, and came probably just to see
Trey Hillman. But Trey's message was powerful and direct, and the
Lord worked through his words. Please pray that his testimony will
have a strong impact on the hearts and minds of those who
attended.
